Opened in May 2010, in Gardendale, Ala., this 15,000 square-foot facility offers nearby residents a broad spectrum of surgical services. With four operating suites and two procedure rooms, it was recently one of Alabama’s largest free-standing surgical centers.

Surgical procedures performed at the facility include orthopedic, general, GYN, laproscopic, ophthamalgic and colorectal services — relieving many patients and their families of the need to drive to Birmingham. “This has really been a win-win situation for the people in our community,” said Lee Stubbs, the center administrator, to North Jefferson News.
