Gardendale ASC

Opened in May 2010, in Gardendale, Ala., this 15,000 square-foot facility offers nearby residents a broad spectrum of surgical services. With four operating suites and two procedure rooms, it was recently one of Alabama’s largest free-standing surgical centers.

Surgical procedures performed at the facility include orthopedic, general, GYN, laproscopic, ophthamalgic and colorectal services — relieving many patients and their families of the need to drive to Birmingham. “This has really been a win-win situation for the people in our community,” said Lee Stubbs, the center administrator, to North Jefferson News.

Capital Growth Medvest acquired the facility from the previous developer and successfully placed it with a leading healthcare real estate investment trust.
