Medvest Breaks Ground On Montana Rehab Hospital
Capital Growth Medvest has recently broken ground on the new 34-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Billings, Montana. The new rehab facility, a tri-venture among St. Vincent Healthcare, Billings Clinic, and Kindred LifePoint Healthcare (“Kindred”) (NYSE: KND), is expected to open in the second-quarter of 2019.
“This collaboration will provide our community and the region greater access to new, high-quality rehabilitation services close to home,” said Dr. Randall Gibb, interim CEO at Billings Clinic. “We are bringing together the resources and knowledge of two of the strongest health care organizations in the region with Kindred’s nationally recognized expertise in post-acute care to build and operate this facility, the first of its kind in Montana.”
Langlas & Associates, founded in 1973, has been selected as the general contractor. Langlas is a second-generation family owned company with district offices across Montana, including Billings. The 39,400-square-foot hospital is designed by Earl Swensson Associates, Inc, recognized as a leader among healthcare architecture firms.
